Follow me into the Baraka Library. 

 

If you enter the Baraka library in the order of the photos, you can hear the children chattering even though they are photos. From the graffiti of children on every wall of the library, from the smiles of the teachers who serve with them, and from the expression on the faces of the children, even though it is a small library, you can feel the joy.

 

If you look around carefully and come out of Baraka, you can see children's murals decorating the surrounding Itaewon streets and children playing freely in them. As if the whole place is a children's library.

 

No matter where you are, I want you to walk the streets of Baraka and Itaewon with me through these photos and capture the true hope and love that this place tells you.

사진들의 순서대로 바라카 도서관으로 들어오면, 사진임에도 아이들의 재잘거리는 소리를 들을 수 있다. 도서관의 벽벽마다 빼곡한 아이들의 낙서에서, 함께 섬겨주시는 선생님들의 미소에서, 그리고 아이들의 구김없는 표정에서 작은 도서관임에도 벅참을 느낄 수 있다.

 

내부를 찬찬히 둘러보고 바라카 밖으로 나오면, 주변 이태원 거리들을 장식한 아이들의 벽화, 그리고 그곳들을 자유롭게 뛰노는 아이들의 모습을 볼 수 있다. 마치 이 곳 전체가 아이들의 도서관인 것처럼.
